摘要 PURPOSE: A battery control device of a vehicle is provided to prevent the secondary accident from the electric short circuit by preventing supply of power from the battery to the electric components at the accident, and to supply power from the battery according to the ignition signal in normally starting the engine. CONSTITUTION: A battery control device for supplying or shutting off power from a battery(100) to an electric component(400) is composed of a collision detecting sensor(500) outputting the electric collision signal by detecting collision of the vehicle, a switch(200) inserted between the battery and the electric component and operated by the battery to electrically connect or disconnect the battery from the electric component, and a control unit(300) inserted between the battery and the switch to control the switch according to the collision signal from the collision detecting sensor. The switch comprises a bridge(210) connecting or insulating the electric contact point between the battery and the electric component, a spring(220) separating the bridge from the electric contact point, and an actuator(230) coupled to the bridge to connect the bridge to the electric contact point.
