PURPOSE: A user authentication method of a mobile terminal is provided to check over whether the other party is a real owner of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: An authentication request person requests an authentication respondent to perform authentication through a mobile terminal(S10). The mobile terminal transmits the authentication request information to an authentication processor of a mobile communication system(S20,S30). The authentication processor transmits the authentication request information to a mobile terminal of the authentication respondent(S40). The mobile terminal of the authentication respondent informs the authentication respondent about the authentication request and the authentication respondent inputs a password(S50,S60). The mobile terminal of the authentication respondent checks the inputted password and transmits an authentication result to the mobile communication system(S70,S80). The mobile communication system transmits the authentication result to the mobile terminal of the authentication request person and the mobile terminal of the authentication request person informs the authentication request person about the authentication result(S90,S100). |
