PURPOSE: A method for transmitting billing update information in a packet form in a subscriber connection unit of a WLL(Wireless Local Loop) is provided to considerably save costs and time required for updating billing information compared to an existing method. CONSTITUTION: An SMC(Short Message Center) generates billing update information in a short message form and transmits it to a subscriber connection unit(13)(21). The subscriber connection unit(13) informs a billing machine(14) about the received billing update information(22). The billing machine(14) informs the subscriber connection unit(13) that the billing machine(14) is ready for receiving the billing update information(23). The subscriber connection unit(13) converts the billing update information in the short message form into a packet form(24) and transmits it to the billing machine(14) through a serial cable(25). The billing machine(14) sends a reception completion message to the subscriber connection unit(13)(26) and updates existing billing information with the newly received billing update information.
