摘要 PURPOSE: An energy recovery circuit and a method for driving the same are provided to rapidly operate the voltage rise and falling of the sustain pulse by charging the charges on the inductor employing the boost method. CONSTITUTION: An energy recovery circuit includes a panel capacitor(Css), an inductor(L), a first switch(SW1), a second switch(SW2) and a first diode(D1). The panel capacitor is equivalently formed on the discharge cell of the panel. The inductor is connected between the external capacitor and the panel capacitor. The first switch is connected between the external capacitor and the one side of the inductor. The second switch is installed between the other side of the inductor and the base voltage source to turn on with being synchronized to the first switch. And, the first diode induces the firs inverse voltage to the inductor when the first and the second switches are turned off and forms the current path so as to supply the first reverse voltage to the panel capacitor.
