PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to ventilate efficiently by discharging pollution indoor air and supplying fresh outdoor air with the indoor fan and the outdoor fan, and to cut down cost by reducing the size of the sirocco fan with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner is composed of an indoor unit(1) installed indoors, and an outdoor unit installed outdoors and connected to a refrigerant pipe. A ventilating system comprises an indoor fan(12) contained in the indoor unit for ventilating, an outdoor fan(20) installed outdoors for ventilating, and a common supply and discharge pipe connected to the indoor fan and the outdoor fan and installed to the building by penetrating the inner wall. The ventilating system discharges indoor air through the common supply and discharge pipe and the outdoor fan in driving the indoor fan, and supplies outdoor air through the common supply and discharge pipe and the indoor fan in driving the outdoor fan.
