PURPOSE: A structure for mounting a dust collecting unit of a vacuum cleaner is provided to improve the reliability of operation by restricting movement or deformation of the dust collecting unit against impact and by preventing air leakage from the air passage when the connecting pipe of the intake port or the exhaust port is out of line. CONSTITUTION: A mounting structure of a dust collecting unit for a vacuum cleaner is composed of a dust collecting unit containing part recessed in the upper part of the cyclone vacuum cleaner and composed of a fitting groove in the recess, a cyclone member stored in the dust collecting unit containing part to filtrate pollutant from suction air, a sealing member(70) closing the upper part of the cyclone member, a fitting member(60) formed in the upper part of the sealing member to insert or separate a fitting end deformed by external force from the fitting groove, and an outer case(50) formed in the upper part of the fitting member and placed near the fitting member to guide movement of the fitting end.
