PURPOSE: To provide a device for promptly and simply performing a strip looping operation for removing alien substance on the surface of deflector roll to prevent safety accident during the strip looping operation and minimize work load of workers when removing the alien substance adhered to the surface of the deflector roll. CONSTITUTION: The device for looping strip on deflector roll comprises a support(10) installed on the bottom of a bearing block(3) that supports the deflector roll(1); a moving block(20) which is installed on one side surface of the support in such a way that the moving block is movable by a cylinder(22), and on the upper and lower surfaces of which a rack gear(21) is formed; a pair of rotary arms(30) at one end of which a pinion gear(32) engaged with the rack gear is installed, and which are rotated around a hinge(31); looping rolls(40) installed at the other end of the rotary arms; a pair of driving motors(51) installed on a lower portion of the support; and a pair of driving rolls(50) rotatably installed by the respective driving motors.
