SHADOW MASK FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE CAPABLE OF PREVENTING DOMING PHENOMENON CAUSED DUE TO THERMAL EXPANSION

PURPOSE: A shadow mask is provided to prevent a doming phenomenon caused due to thermal expansion, and degradation of color purity. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube comprises a panel as a front glass; a funnel coupled to the panel so as to form a vacuum tube; a phosphor screen formed on an inner surface of the panel; a shadow mask(3) which is spaced apart from the phosphor screen, and selects colors; an electron gun arranged in a neck portion of the funnel; and a deflection yoke for deflecting electron beams emitted from the electron gun in horizontal and vertical directions. The shadow mask has a skirt portion(15) where a plurality of beads(16) are formed in a vertical direction. The bead is formed into the height which is 50 to 80% of the height of the skirt portion.
