PURPOSE: To provide a method for improving coating property of coating rolls for insulation by properly imparting rolling force to upper and lower coater rolls within a range that a load is not applied between the upper and lower coater rolls and differently setting relative toothing extent between the upper and lower coater rolls accordingly. CONSTITUTION: The method for improving coating property of coating rolls for insulation comprises a step(a) of setting rolling force between initial lower coater rolls(20) such that rolling force of a lower pick up roll(23) is maintained to a range of 80 to 90 kg, rolling force of a lower thickness control roll(24) is maintained to a range of 70 to 80 kg, and rolling force of a lower coating roll(26) is maintained to a range of 90 to 110 kg; a step(b) of setting rolling force between initial upper coater rolls(10) such that rolling force of an upper pick up roll(13) is maintained to a range of 90 to 100 kg, rolling force of an upper thickness control roll(14) is maintained to a range of 80 to 90 kg, and rolling force of an upper coating roll(16) is maintained to a range of 70 to 90 kg; a step(c) of setting toothing extent between the initial lower coater rolls such that toothing extent between the lower pick up roll and the lower thickness control roll is maintained to a range of 0 to 2 mm, and toothing extent between the lower thickness control roll and the lower coating roll is maintained to a range of 1 to 3 mm; and a step(d) of setting toothing extent between the initial upper coater rolls such that toothing extent between the upper pick up roll and the upper thickness control roll is maintained to a range of 1 to 2 mm, and toothing extent between the upper thickness control roll and the upper coating roll is maintained to a range of 0 to 2 mm.
