PRINT METHOD IN AN IMAGE FORMING DEVICE TO REDUCE A PRINTING JOB OF ERRONEOUS PRINT DATA

PURPOSE: A print method in an image forming device is provided to reduce a printing job of erroneous print data by storing error information on print data in a portable storage device capable of interfacing with the image forming device. CONSTITUTION: History information on a print error of print data is recorded in a portable device(S470). When a print instruction for the print data having the history information is generated(S410), it is determined whether an engine mechanism for printing the print data is driven or not, referring to the history information. It is determined whether an error type recorded in the history information is a correctable error or not in case that drive of the engine mechanism is judged(S450).
