PURPOSE: A method for preventing software from counterfeiting using automatic running linked with a device for reading the software is provided to prevent counterfeit through the software and a work cooperated with the device for reading the software. CONSTITUTION: As a removable memory embedded with the software is inserted into a reader, an automatic running function is automatically executed. While the automatic running function is executed, entire foreground screen of a monitor is filled with an installation screen of the software. Thus, no other software is allowed to a user.
