PURPOSE: A tension reducer of a seat belt is provided to restrict the small spring and the large spring from being displaced, and to prevent the seat belt webbing from being loosened by shutting off the upper parts of first and second fixing grooves for assembling the small and large springs with the spring holder. CONSTITUTION: A small spring(52) and a large spring(54) are opposed to each other and inserted to a spring holder(55). The ends of the small spring and the large spring are fastened to first and second fixing grooves(59) formed in the spring holder by a tension reducer of a seat belt. A first retainer is fastened to the spring holder by a press unit to restrict the upper part of the first fixing groove for inserting the small spring in the spring holder, and is not contacted to the small spring in assembling and is not protruded around the spring holder. The press unit is composed of a first press-fit groove and a press-fit projection.
