PROTECTION DEVICE OF PRESSING ROLLER FOR APPLYING PROPER PRESSURE ON WELDING OBJECT WHILE LASER WELDING THE OBJECT THROUGH LASER OPTIC HEAD

PURPOSE: A pressing roller protection device of a laser optic head is provided to protect a pressing roller for applying proper pressure on a welding object from welding spatter. CONSTITUTION: A pressing roller protection device of a laser optic head includes a protection cover(21) mounted in a roller bracket(19) to cover the outer part of a pressing roller(10). The lower portion of the protection cover is opened to expose a part of the pressing roller. A penetrated hole is formed in the central portion of the protection cover to be penetrated with a rotating shaft(23) of the pressing roller. A brush member(31) is formed on the inner face of the protection cover to remove spatter(20) sticking on the surface of the pressing roller.
