PREPARATION OF FEED FROM FOOD WASTE BY HEATING FOOD WASTE UNDER PREDETERMINED PRESSURE AND DRYING HEATED FOOD WASTE WHILE COOLING WATER VAPOR PRODUCED DURING HEATING

摘要

PURPOSE: A method of preparing feed from food waste by heating hydrated food waste under predetermined pressure and drying treated food waste while cooling water vapor produced during heating is provided. It can produce high quality feed at low cost while reducing environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: Food waste is transferred from a hopper by a conveyor after removal of foreign material, crushed in a crusher and then dehydrated. The hydrated food waste is heated at 100deg.C at 3atm. for 1.5min in a steamer to remove salt and dried to a moisture content of 10 to 13% while cooling water vapor which is sucked with a vacuum pump from the steamer to water.
