The percolation yielding high-sugar product from lignocellulose materials comprises preparation of an acid mixture, application of steam and contacting to give liquid hydrolysate for percolation. Also claimed is apparatus implementing the process. CLAIMED APPARATUS - The apparatus filters the hydrolysate and repeats the preceding work cycle, for evacuation of a solid phase based on residues. EMBODIMENT - The product is suitable for use in the production of ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide.
