The device has a housing (1) provided with a suction cup (3) that is affixed to a surface of an object (13) i.e. glass pane, A depression chamber (15) is in one operating state and switched to another operating state in which volume of the depression chamber is greater than the former operating state. A trade-off pressure part (21) allows the device to detach the object regardless of the operating state of the depression chamber. A suction cup lever mechanism (7) adjusts the operating states of the depression chamber.
