PURPOSE: A method of installing a protection cover for roadside trees around the periphery of the lower end of the roadside trees with a weed killing plate having the function of inhibiting weed growth is provided. Therefore, it can effectively inhibit the growth and propagation of weed and supply the proper moisture and nutrients for roadside trees. CONSTITUTION: The method of installing a protection cover for roadside trees around the periphery of the lower end of the roadside trees consists of the steps of: executing a flattening work on the ground of an area in which the protection cover is installed; executing a herbicidal plate(3) containing herbicidal components from the upper part of the ground; and executing successive assembling of the protection cover comprising a receiving member(1) and a covering member(2) from the upper part. After the completion of the execution of the herbicidal plate and protection cover, herbicide-treated sand or gravel is filled through a drain hole(2a) of the covering member(2). |
