The method of training the spine involves twisting the spine between the pelvis (i) and shoulder (h) area involves twisting the body from the shoulder in the opposite direction to the pelvis, to cause a twisting between the spinal vertebrae. The twisting action can be accompanied by bending of the spine along its length. The limbs can be moved in synchronism with the twisting action to compensate for applied torque. Claims include a training apparatus using the method.
