PURPOSE: An apparatus for supplying power source of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to reduce the cost for constructing a circuit by realizing a short circuit preventing function by using inexpensive transistors and manual elements. CONSTITUTION: A power supply terminal(40) supplies operating power source for an air conditioner installed in a vehicle. A microcomputer(50) outputs a driving signal for driving the air conditioner. A power source apply unit(60) is connected with the microcomputer for transmitting the operating power source supplied from the power supply terminal according to the driving signal output from the microcomputer to the air conditioner. In the case that a short circuit is generated in the power source apply unit, a power source cut-off unit(70) cuts off the operating power source transmitted to the air conditioner.
