摘要 PURPOSE: A transceiver apparatus and a transmitting/receiving method for an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system using an insufficient cyclic prefix are provided to reduce a complexity of the system while maintaining a performance when a channel impulse response longer than a cyclic prefix sample is present. CONSTITUTION: An OFDM system uses N carrier waves having different frequency bands and allocates K carrier waves from the N carrier waves as redundant carrier waves. A transmitter for the OFDM system includes a P filter(210) and an inverse fast Fourier transformer(220). The P filter receives N-K data symbols and generates K virtual data symbols. The inverse fast Fourier transformer has N input taps corresponding to the N carrier waves, receives the N-K data symbols using the N-K taps corresponding to data carrier waves which are not redundant carrier waves, receives the K virtual carrier waves using the K taps corresponding to the redundant carrier waves, and performs an inverse fast Fourier transform on the input to output a data frame. The data symbols are set to be zero at a portion of inter-channel interference in the data frame.
