HYDROLYZED YEAST CONTAINING HIGH CONCENTRATION OF SELENIUM HAVING IMPROVED ANTI-STRESS ACTIVITY, PREPARING METHOD THEREOF, AND FUNCTIONAL ADDITIVES FOR LIVESTOCK CONTAINING THE SAME YEAST TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY OF LIVESTOCK

PURPOSE: Hydrolyzed yeast containing high concentration of selenium, a preparing method thereof, and functional additives for livestock containing the same yeast are provided, which hydrolyzed yeast containing high concentration of selenium has improved anti-stress activity, so that the productivity of livestock can be improved when the hydrolyzed yeast containing high concentration of selenium is added into a feed for livestock. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing the hydrolyzed yeast containing high concentration of selenium comprises the steps of: culturing Saccharomyces cerevisiae in a medium containing selenium salt, centrifuging the cultured medium to collect the cell pellet, and drying the collected cell pellet to prepare selenium containing yeast; adding 0.5 to 2 wt.% of protein decomposing enzyme into the dried yeast and hydrolyzing the yeast under conditions of pH 5.0 to 7.5 and 50 to 70 deg. C; and adding 75 to 80 mg of selenium salt into 100 to 140 g of the hydrolyzed yeast peptide and reacting them at 40 to 60 deg. C for 20 to 30 hours to obtain selenium bound yeast peptides, and drying them, wherein the selenium bound yeast peptides contain 75% or more of peptides having molecular weight of 5,000 dalton or less.
