PURPOSE: A member management unification method is provided to collectively manage members of plural member administration companies with one common unique member code so that it enables a member to use one member code at plural affiliated stores. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. First, a code management server generates a pattern with a unique member code and offers the pattern to a member management server in a case that the member management server requests a new member code. Then the member management server inserts the member code into a code expression media, and offers the media to a client. If the client uses the code expression media at affiliated stores for buying commodities or enjoying a service, a terminal, installed at the affiliated stores, takes a pattern image from the code expression media, extracts the member code from the pattern image, and offers the member code and transaction data to the code management server(ST300, ST310, ST320). The code management server searches for a member management server corresponding to the member code, and transmits the member code and the transaction data to the searched member management server. Finally, the member management server updates data on the corresponding member based on the transmitted transaction data.
