DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TOLLING CONSOLE GAME MACHINE DEPENDING ON USE TIME

PURPOSE: A device and a method for tolling a console game machine depending on a use time are provided to toll the consol game machine as a prepayment system with a coin or a charging card by directly connecting to the console game machine. CONSTITUTION: A charge input detector(10) transmits a charge input signal to a CPU(50) by detecting an input sum of the coin or the charging card. A switch(40) sets the use time per price and transmits a use time setting value to the CPU. The CPU calculates an available use time by receiving the charge input signal and the use time setting value, and controls signal transfer of an OSD(On Screen Display)(30). A display part(20) displays the available use time of the console game machine by connecting to the CPU. The OSD transmits a video signal and an OSD signal to the console game machine by connecting to the CPU. Signal I/O(Input/Output) ports(60,70) input/output the video signal and the OSD signal.
