APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING LIPS OF AIR KNIFE AND REMOVING ZINC CHIPS ON AIR KNIFE LIPS BY AIR KNIFE LIP ADJUSTING AND POLISHING DEVICES

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for polishing air knife and adjusting lips of air knife in hot dip galvanizing process to produce hot dip galvanized products having high quality, shorten time required for adjusting upper and lower lips by assembling the lips such that gaps at the left and right sides between upper and lower lips of air knife are uniform during controlling operation of a plating amount. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises an upper lip drawing part(300) for transferring the upper lip to an upper lip polishing position of a surface plate for working by detaching an upper lip from an air knife, or transferring a polishing completed upper lip on the surface plate for working from the surface plate for working to an upper lip assembly position of the air knife so that the upper lip is attached to a right position of the air knife; a lower lip drawing part(200) for transferring the lower lip to a lower lip polishing position of the surface plate for working by detaching a lower lip(30) from the air knife, or transferring a polishing completed lower lip on the surface plate for working from the surface plate for working to a lower lip assembly position of the air knife so that the lower lip is attached to a right position of the air knife; a lip polishing part for removing zinc chips adhered to the surface of the lips of the air knife by simultaneously polishing the surfaces of the upper and lower lips transferred to the surface plate for working; and a lip adjusting part(100) for adjusting a proper angle between the upper and lower lips which are transferred to the upper and lower lip assembly positions and attached to the air knife.
