The head has an inner conduit (18) for transporting a cooling fluid. The conduit has a section oriented in a vertical direction (C) that is inclined towards an axis (A) of a cylinder. The vertical direction is inclined to provide a large volume for an upper part (14) of a coaxial housing (12) of an injector and to permit inclination of a valve guide (20) towards the axis. An independent claim is also included for a mold for the realization of a core of foundry in sand intended for the realization of an inner conduit of the cylinder head.
