The mandrel (1) has a metallic jacket (40) that extends on a front part (26) of a driving ring (25) and includes proximal and distal parts (41,42). The part (41) is rotated towards the front of the mandrel and an axial maintaining unit (45) maintains the jacket on a body (2), where body and part (41) are made of same material. The body has a nose including a peripheral groove (46) in which the maintaining unit penetrates.
