PURPOSE: A noise filter and an electronic apparatus having the same are provided to reduce a power dissipation by preventing noise power from being accumulated in the noise filter. CONSTITUTION: A noise filter includes a ground line(74), an inductor(12), and a resistor(11). The ground line discharges a short-circuit current generated on an electronic apparatus to ground. The inductor suppresses a noise current, which is induced on the ground line, flowing from the ground line into the electronic apparatus. The resistor is connected in parallel with the inductor. A relation of square root of (L/C)<R<2¥øn¬2, when C is greater than 1/(4¥øn¬4L), where a lower limit angular frequency of the noise current is ¥øn(rad), an inductance of the inductor is L(H), a resistance of the resistor is R(¥Ø), and an earth capacitance of the electronic apparatus is C(F).
