PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing colloidal crystal for use in optical communication and a porous structure, the method being capable of freely controlling a structure of colloidal crystal. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of infiltrating colloidal solution to a capillary tube, crystallizing the colloid by evaporating solvent in the colloidal solution, and removing the capillary tube, wherein in the colloidal solution, inorganic particles or polymer particles are dispersed. The method for preparing a porous structure comprises the steps of infiltrating colloidal solution to a capillary tube, crystallizing the colloid by evaporating solvent in the colloidal solution, infiltrating polymer precursor into the capillary tube for copolymerization, and removing the capillary tube and the colloid crystal.
