The seat has a raised mechanism with rear tie rods (24) rotating on a base frame along a rotation axis. The rods are rotatably connected by a raised shaft (25) whose ends are mounted in a bearing of the frame. A cam (41) is rotatably mounted on the shaft such that butting of the cam on a lower side of a backrest frame causes a high radial force of the cam on the shaft to limit possibilities of rotation of the shaft. The rods are arranged such that their rotation vertically and longitudinally displaces the base with respect to a floor pan of a vehicle.
