PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing registration of bulletin information on the Internet based on a directory system are provided to enhance convenience of a user to register bulletin by automatically offering directory classification information of the bulletin. CONSTITUTION: A directory keyword database(501) stores keywords predetermined as the keyword is included in a specified directory. A DBMS(DataBase Management System)(502) manages the directory keyword database. An inquiry request receiver(503) receives a directory information search request for the bulletin information inputted from the user. An inquiry result provider(504) searches the keyword corresponding to a text string extracted from the inquiry request receiver or inputted by the user from the directory keyword database, and provides the directory information including the searched keyword.
