PURPOSE: A tension weight guide device of a conveyor is provided to prevent damage of the belt side and breakage of the tension pulley block and the bearing by keeping the balance of the tension weight box with the automatic guide device of the tension weight. CONSTITUTION: A tension weight guide device of a conveyor is composed of a belt conveyor(1), a tension weight(6) applying tension to the belt conveyor in moving the belt conveyor, a couple of guide bars fixed to the guide parts and opposed to each other, a roller(12c) mounted to the outer wall of the guide bar to move up and down the guide bar, a screw(11e) mounted in the guide bar to cross the guide bars, a rack and a pinion mounted to the center of the screw, and links(12d) mounted at both sides of the pinion. The balance of the tension weight is maintained by a balance maintaining part, and linear motion is converted into rotation to activate the moving body of the balance unit to the right and the left.
