PURPOSE: Provided is a rubber composition for tire sidewall, which comprises an encapsulated temperature-sensitive pigment to give an decorating effect and to permit an observer to observe the temperature and internal pressure of a tire during driving. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition for tire sidewall comprises a base rubber, white filler, softening agent, vulcanizing agent and vulcanizing accelerator, wherein the rubber composition further comprises 1-30 parts by weight of an encapsulated temperature-sensitive pigment based on 100 parts by weight of base rubber. The base rubber preferably comprises 40-60 wt% of natural rubber, 10-30 wt% of ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer rubber and 10-40 wt% of halogenated butyl rubber.
