PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing device having safe and high pipe cleaning performance. SOLUTION: This freezing device comprises a recovery circuit 45 formed by connecting a foreign matter recovery container 50 connected to the intake side of a compressor 21 through an inflow pipe 51 and an outflow pipe 62. A radiating fin 41 for evaporating a liquid refrigerant carried to the recovery container 50 by heat exchange with air is provided on the outside of the recovery container 50. A refrigerant is circulated in a refrigerant circuit 10 so that the refrigerant is carried to the recovery container 50 in a two-phase state including the liquid refrigerant and a gas refrigerant to recovery foreign matters to the recovery container 50.
