PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a magnetic garnet single crystal membrane wherein the magnetic garnet single crystal membrane with little crystal defects is grown by a liquid-phase epitaxial method at a low cost. SOLUTION: A raw material is charged into a gold-made crucible and melted to form a melt; then, the melt is used for repeatedly growing a plurality of magnetic garnet single crystal membranes by a liquid-phase epitaxial method.
