PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method and a treatment device for an organic waste liquid, by which the dissolvability of sludge is efficiently improved, simultaneously, phosphorous present in the sludge is eluted, the generation of digestion gas is promoted, the amount of the sludge to be treated is reduced, and further, phosphorous is recovered. SOLUTION: The organic waste liquid to be caused to flow-in is subjected to ozone treatment and is next subjected to alkali treatment, and thereafter, an organic waste liquid after modification is separated into a solid and a solution. The solid after the separation is introduced into an anaerobic digestor chamber and is subjected to anaerobic digestion, and further, phosphorous is recovered from the solution after the separation. The digested sludge in the anaerobic digestor chamber is discharged, and the discharged digested sludge may be subjected to the treatment of dispersion and modification. It is also possible that the discharged digested sludge is subjected to solid-liquid separation, and the obtained concentrated sludge is subjected to the treatment of dispersion and modification.
