<p>1288072 Drawing curtains GORILLA ENG & MACHINERY Ltd 13 Jan 1970 [12 Feb 1969] 7528/69 Heading A4B [Also in Divisions F2, G1, H2 and H1] Cords 20, 21 for operating curtains are pressed against a wheel 16 driven by a reversible electric motor 8 by means of spring-pressed grooved pulleys 17, 18. A casing 14 has slots 22, 23 so that the cords can be pressed into position between the wheels 16, 17, 18. Each cord carries a stop 26a, 26b respectively co-operating with limit switches 10, 11 controlling the motor 8. In a modification, the cords are wrapped around a double-grooved wheel (116) and over several single grooved pulleys (46.. 51), Fig.4 (not shown).</p> |
