A water filled floor covering, e.g. for animal stalls as well as for sport and leisure, has waterproof upper and lower layers joined by waterproof edge seams and fitted with hose connections. The inside faces of the upper and lower layers are linked by an array of parallel threads which limit the thickness of the inflated covering to obtain a flat upper surface. The covering can be inflated to a higher pressure than with conventional designs. The inflation can be static or connected to a recirculating system for cooled or warmed liquids. Water or any suitable liquids can be used. |
