<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost gas sensor of which terminal member can be formed easily, a gas sensor cap connected to the gas sensor, for transmitting an output signal to an external device, and a gas sensor unit capable of keeping a stable electrical connection state between the terminal member of the gas sensor and the gas sensor cap. <P>SOLUTION: This gas sensor 100 is equipped with a gas detection element 120 and the terminal member 150. The terminal member 150 comprises a plate having a prescribed bent shape, and has an output side terminal part 151 to be elastically enlarged when connected to a cap terminal 211, which is the cylindrical output side terminal part 151 electrically connected to the cap terminal 211, for outputting an output signal of the gas detection element 120, and an element side terminal part 153 to be inserted into the gas detection element 120, while being elastically contracted, which is the cylindrical element side terminal part 153 electrically connected to an inside electrode 112. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
