PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling affinity of the surface of an organic material by impressing a voltage to the organic material containing a polarization molecule equipped with a fixed condition. SOLUTION: The affinity of a material surface is controlled on the basis of electric polarization and/or hydrophilicity or hydrophobicity at the end part of a polarization molecule oriented on the material surface by impressing positive and negative voltages in the direction crossing the surface of an organic material containing a polarization molecule which is electrically polarized in a natural state or electrically polarized by voltage impression, more preferably a polarization molecule having hydrophilicity at one end of the molecule and hydrophobicity at the other end.
