METHOD FOR PROCESSING PHOTOSENSITIVE LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE AND METHOD FOR DECREASING DETERIORATION OF DEVELOPING SOLUTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a photosensitive lithographic printing plate and a method for decreasing deterioration in a developing solution, by which the development stability of the developing solution is maintained and problems relating to the increase in the cost due to increase in the amount of use of a replenisher liquid or the increase in a waste liquid are simultaneously solved, ink contamination in a non-image part is improved, and production of sludge is suppressed. SOLUTION: The method for decreasing deterioration in the developing solution is carried out by replacing air which is forcibly brought into contact with the waste liquid of an aqueous alkaline developing solution containing substantially no silicate by the air in a developing tank which houses an aqueous alkali developing solution containing substantially no silicate.
