PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonic acid gas incubator provided with gas controllability and returning properties equal to those of a carbonic acid gas incubator adopting a breeze circulating method even in the case of the carbonic acid gas incubator adopting a natural convection method. SOLUTION: This carbonic acid gas incubator is designed to uniformize the environment in a cabinet with the natural convection. The carbonic acid gas incubator is equipped with a feed port 11a for blowing off carbonic acid gas toward the interior of the cabinet, a valve 13 for opening and closing a gas feed passage leading to the feed port 11a, a gas sensor 10 for detecting the carbonic acid gas concentration in the cabinet and a controlling part 16 for opening and closing the valve 13 on the basis of the output from the gas sensor 10. Furthermore, the gas sensor 10 is provided in a position exposed to the carbonic acid gas from the feed port 11a. The controlling part 16 performs control so as to repeat opening and closing operation so that the valve 13 is closed when the gas sensor 10 detects that the carbonic acid gas concentration from the feed port 11a reaches a set value and the valve 13 is opened when the gas sensor 10 detects the lowering of the carbonic acid gas concentration in the cabinet from the set value.
