PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging device wherein convenience in handling is secured while solving the problem of a using time and the advantage of digital imaging is utilized. SOLUTION: This radiation imaging device 10 is provided with: a battery 114 for a device main body 124; an imaging part 11 for imaging a radiation image as a digital image; a cable communication part 121 for transmitting and receiving digital image data or a imaging control signal to and from the outside of the device main body 124 through a cable 111; a radio communication part 122 for transmitting and receiving the digital image data or the imaging control signal to and from the outside of the device main body 124 without through a cable 111; a connection detection part 112for detecting the connection of the cable 111 to the device main body 124; a bus switching part 120 for selecting which of the cable communication part 121 or the ratio communication part 122 is to be used for transmitting and receiving the digital image data or the imaging control signal based on the detecting result of the connection detection part 112; and a power feeding control part 115 for selecting whether to use the battery 114 as the power source of the device main body 124 based on the detecting result of the connection detection part 122.
