PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of cutting a sack storing a long size material in one process. SOLUTION: This device cuts a sack 95 continuously wrapping a straight tube-shaped fluorescent tube 80 (a long size material) in the longitudinal direction between adjacent fluorescent tubes 80. This cutting device has rotatingly driven disk-like first and second cutters 22, and a cutter moving means. The cutter moving means moves the first cutter 22 to a just under position from a just above position of the sack 95 or to the just above position from the just under position every time when cutting the sack 95. The second cutter 22 is moved in the inverse direction of the first cutter in synchronism with the first cutter 22. The first cutter 22 draws a locus L of cutting a substantially left half of the sack 95, while avoiding an electrode 81 (a projection) of the fluorescent tube 80 in the movement. The second cutter 22 draws a locus R of cutting a substantially right half of the sack 95, while avoiding the electrode 81 in the movement. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
