<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network game system, capable of developing a complicated game, and capable of developing an expression-rich game. <P>SOLUTION: This network game system is constituted, by respectively connecting user game devices 1-1, 1-2, to 1-n via telephone lines 2-1, 2-2, to 2-n, and business game devices 5-1, 5-2, to 5-m via telephone lines 4-1, 4-2, to 4-m, to a central control unit 3. The respective user game devices 1-1, 1-2, to 1-n are possessed by a user, and can set data characteristic of a character in various games. The central control unit 3 develops and performs the game on the basis of the data characteristic of the character.
