PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary display device capable of surely displaying a display plate desired to be displayed in a halted state even when the number of display plates is much or its revolving speed is high. SOLUTION: This rotary display device 30, which performs a prescribed display by displaying a pair of upper and lower display plates 32 by turnably supporting a plurality of display plates 32 between outer peripheral parts of flanges 48 of both sides of a rotating body 40 to be driven by a stepping motor 50 and by holding the upper display plate 32 at the display position by stopping the rotating body 40 at an arbitrary position, is provided with solenoids 56a, 56b, which are reciprocatively provided to the upper display plate 32 and moves in front of the display plate 32a or 32b to be desired to be stopped at the display position when the display plate 32a or 32b comes to the display position to stop the display plate 32a or 32b.
