PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a processing such as a toner replenishment or a cartridge exchange in an appropriate timing by correcting output errors of an antenna signal for detecting a residual toner caused by the surface layer scraping of a resin coated sleeve. SOLUTION: An image forming device includes a resin coated sleeve, an antenna for detecting a residual toner, and a means for measuring the thickness of the resin layer on the surface of the resin coated sleeve, thereby correcting the antenna signal in accordance with the thickness of the resin layer.
