PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention monitoring camera system for recognizing heavy equipment such as a shovel car and preventing crime of taking away an ATM machine. SOLUTION: A monitoring camera 1 photographs a vehicle around an ATM machine 9, an image recognizing section 2 conducts image recognition for image information of the vehicle photographed by the camera 1 by using a prescribed algorithm, and if it is determined that the photographed vehicle is the heavy equipment, the recognizing section 2 transmits an alert signal of approach of a suspicious person to a control device 3. When receiving the alert signal, the control device 3 notifies the fact to a central monitoring control device 8 and controls a drive section 4, and houses the ATM machine 9 into an underground housing section 5 to protect it from being broken and stolen.
