PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer method capable of preventing a cache function on a communication passage from being burdened even in the case of transmitting/receiving a file of large capacity in http or https communication. SOLUTION: The load of the cache function on the communication passage is suppressed as much as possible by transmitting transmission data by dividing sessions in communication between a Web browser and an Web site. For instance, the file is automatically compressed at the time of communication, the compressed file is divided in each specified size and then each divided file is transmitted to the Web site in each different session. The Web site combines the transmitted files and then unpacked the combined file. Consequently a user intending to transmit data can realize the transmission of much data without being conscious of compression and division and the Web site also can suppress the load of the memory.
