PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof resin sash capable of simply imparting a fireproof function to a resin sash of a general specification not satisfying a fireproof specifications without altering the structure and enabling the sash to be used in a fire zone or the like. SOLUTION: The fireproof resin sash 1 constitutes an opening frame body 10 by assembling stiles 11, 12 and rails 13, 14 as a synthetic resin member having cavities along the longitudinal direction, the stiles 11, 12 and the rails 13, 14 are assembled together to constitute a sliding screen 20, and the sliding screen 20 supports a window glass 25. The fire resistant sheets 15, 15A of thermal expansive fire resistant materials and woody materials 16, 16A are inserted in the respective selected cavities so as to form a fire resistant face in the direction along the glass face. The sheet is formed into a strip or a tape form and is inserted so that the wide face is arranged in the direction along the face of the plate material, and preferably the sheet is bonded to the inside face of the cavity.
