PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door sub-lock device to be mounted on a folding door, having superior crime preventing function without impairing the appearance of the folding door. SOLUTION: The sub-lock device comprises a lower bar 10 having a horizontally slidable operation portion 11 on the inner surface side and an up-and-down movable dead bolt 12 and an inclined groove 19 in the space. A pin 18 extending backward to the operation portion 11 is fitted to the inclined groove 19 and the upper end of the inclined groove 19 is provided with a lock face 20 to which the pin 18 is locked.
